Hi, group - I searched through both the archives and the help files, but have not found the answer to my question. Is there a code or something we can put into the search and replace fields so that we can find carriage returns as part of the search/replace text? I know with other programs you have to use some type of code (such as ^t to indicate searching for a tab code, etc.), but I couldn't find anything comparable in Legacy. Is it simply that you can't do it?
I have some garbage that got imported when I moved from FTM to Legacy and I'd like to do a global search and replace to clean it all up - but I need to be able to specify looking for carriage returns and tabs as part of my search. Any clues?
