DeLories,

The backup basically just zips up your Family File along with the ancillary
files. None of your data should be affected at all by the backup process.

Did you try a File > File Maintenance > Check/Repair?

Well, this a new one for me. Desk top crashed. So I had hard-drive put on a
disk to install on my new computer. Luckily I followed the rules of ALWAYS
backing up the Legacy Data. Then I transferred over the data and on one of
my families, the information of the name was OK, but the prefix and suffix
were missing. i.e.:
David  - should have been King David I. Or Elizabeth should have showed up
Queen Elizabeth II. So WHY?
