When two people remarry and each have children of their own, then have a
child together, the children do seem to sort by family and not by date born.

Sorting the marriages may put all in order, but if the children are
interwoven, Abe Smith 14, Charlie Smith 10, Fred Smith 3, Bob Jones 12,
Daisy Jones 8, Ellen Johnson 6, Greg Johnson 2; it will put the children
clumped by marriage. Is this what you mean?
