Anne,

Uninstall Legacy from drive C. Then completely remove the folder after
saving your files that are in the Data folder and any other reports or
whatever you may have stashed in the Legacy folder. Download
Legacy5Setup.exe from our website and rename it to LegacyNew.exe (case
sensitive). That will for sure give you the option to direct the
installation to drive D.

After you follow these steps, you shouldn't have any problems with updates -
they should go right to drive D.

The default installation for Legacy is c:\Legacy

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] It happened again How can I fix Legacy.Ing problem

Thank you both very much for helping me

I have been trying to get rid of old Legacy programs and files.

I have a C: which I use for general programs and data

I have D: which I use for my genealogy

I have tried to download Legacy 5 into D: directly so that Legacy files
would be under D:Legacy/

When I try to do this Legacy automatically goes to C:

Can I change this ??

Will it always go to C:Program Files ??

Anne
