Many thanks for your note.  I recently switched to Legacy; from my previous
program I had all my data and image files in various subfolders of My
Documents.  It never occurred to me that the link would be putting in the
entire path name of the image, although if I'd bothered to stop and think
about it, it makes sense.  What a nightmare that would have been, having the
machine-specific user account name as part of the path for My Documents in
ALL of your database links!  You'd never get your links straight, either to
transfer to a new computer or to someone else's!

Thanks for the warning.  I'm going to move my genealogy data and images
straight away to their own folder right off the root drive.  Fortunately, I
hadn't gotten very far in terms of linking my images in my Legacy file -
I'll only have a few of them to fix.
