Thank you Cliff and Sherry,

If Treedraw works with Version 6 as Sherry indicated and since it WILL import my pictures as you confirmed Cliff it looks like I will be safe getting a copy.

I know the fellow I spoke with at the reunion was not unhappy with having used Treedraw and the chart he had printed was a big hit. We do not have Kinkos here in Canada but I'm sure I will be able to find a printer.

Brian,

Treedraw works great with Legacy!

I had the same question as you last month, inquired on LUG, decided on
Treedraw, and in a few hours made just such a family tree for our reunion
in St Louis in July.

You can have pictures added or not. I made both an ancestral tree from
myself and a descendant tree from our four sets of great grandparents for
all the cousins. I had attendees try to find themselves on the tree which
extended overe 5 picnic tables! It was quite a draw (no pun intended)!

You can work out the details you want and then either bring it in on USB or
email an attachment to a professional printer. I used Kinkos (check out
your printer for specifics).

Treedraw is GREAT! and from the input I received and my personal experience
I'd recommend it over Charting Companion

Subject: [LegacyUG] Treedraw for Legacy Questions

Hi Listers,

I have a few questions.

1. I get the impression that the import of pictures is a manual process, I had hoped that Treedraw would handle that for those pictures I have linked to individuals in my file. Is my impression correct or can Treedraw automate the picture import?

2. With the impending release of Legacy 6 should I wait until I have purchased Legacy 6 and Treedraw has been updated to work with it?
