As a temporary fix try exporting your focus group (or tagged records) to a new
Legacy database. Then switch to that database and do a GEDCOM export of all

Actually the charting application handled the problem for me. It
did not connect the step child to the second spouse but since
Legacy included the family record the second spouse is now
included in the chart. Now all I have to do is remember to
disconnect the stepchild once this error is fixed. From messages
I've read though the list of fixes is not issued when a new build
is released though so I will have to test for it each time I
install an update.
