Ken, Thanks for a fair and complete statement of the linked events issue. I have been badgering you for this capability for years and because it is important to many Legacy users. Would probably be important to a lot more once they have it and know what it can do for them. When you get to the development phase could you please consider a couple of factors that could really make Legacy's handling of linked events stand out.
1. The full definition of the event should show in individual and family reports. Today TMG does a pretty good job of this. Genbox is not consistent in the ouput from report to report. 2. Provide the capability to export the linkages in a gedcom. Today neither TMG nor GB can handle this part. I did some testing last night and TMG cannot export a gedcom so that these events are recreated when importing the gedcom back into TMG. I think, as a minimum, linked people should be shown in the notes for the principal event. Again, thanks for straightening this out for us.
