I'm trying to copy my Legacy data base from my desktop to the laptop.
I did a "backup" from the desktop and a "restore" on the laptop. The
backup was performed only minutes before I tried the restore. The
first disc worked fine, but the second disc gave me "error opening
database. Unrecognized database format C:Legacy\Data\Pallai.fdb Would
you like to try again?". When I click "Yes", I get the same message.
I've transferred data in this manner in the past with no problems. I
even re-installed Legacy on the laptop, but nothing changed. Help!
Going to Salt Lake on Sunday and want to take my database with me.
