Legacy programmers: Perhaps one of the "schemes... (under Load toward bottom)" could be the old icons?? --Paula
La Nell, the light pastel colors of the icons bothered my eyes at first also. But I played around with the color scheme under Options > Customize > Colors tab. I kept trying out the different schemes Legacy provides (under Load toward bottom) till I found one made the icons stand out better, then made some changes to better suit me. Now, the icons are not as hard to see. Try that and see if you can't get some better contrast.
