Hi, Foxy,

You don't mention what type web pages you are generating. I use the pedigree
style and have roughly 1100 individuals in my family and it generated about
8MB of pages. This doesn't include pictures.

You can generate a much more compact web page by using the Descendant report
and saving it as html. The only problem here is that not everyone in the
database is included. I have several descendant reports on my site along
with the pedigree pages.

Another option may be to use the Multiple Lines of Descent report and save
it as html. I tried that but it seemed kind of disjointed in it's
presentation. I may try it again in the future though. I may have just not
have given it a fair look.

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Legacy V6 (Web Page Creation Tool)

I would like to see a dynamic web page creator. The Legacy web option
produces 7 Mb of files, where my existing web page from the same number of
people only uses 2 Mb of files. This is significant when you do not have a
large amount of web space.

Is there a way to make smaller web files?

Thanks

Foxy
