I think I see what is happening. The "Mar 1723/4" is being interpreted as March 4, 1723 when what you really want is both years. After selecting the following settings for dates in Options >> Dates: Input is month-day-year Use double dating is checked (set cutoff year to 1752 if not set) Check formatting is checked. Report all questionable dates
My dates are displayed as 1953 NOV 21, with format with 2 digit day/month and format as 4 digit year both checked. Then, I entered Mar 1723-1724, and it is displayed as 1723/24 MAR. Is this what you are trying to achieve?
