I'd never looked at it quite that way but it seems you are right. I've not
tested it yet but could you run a report with those you don't want marked as
private. You can privatise individuals from a search list of tagged people -
I don't know if you can automate this in any way.
I've just had a look at Charting Companion - nothing much there that could
help.

What I need to do is create a descendant chart of all in a line which
I have previously tagged, such as with a particular family surname.
Actually, I cannot find whether it is possible to create Book reports
restricted to tagged individuals either, and I guess the two may be
connected

Is it possible?
