Cathy, I thought about reverting to a backup before I fixed the problem by simply changing all the bad locations to WV. To use a backup I would have to know when the problem occurred. Let's say it was two weeks ago. However, I've spent many hours in the last two weeks adding information to my file. I'm not about to toss all that out and try to recreate it. Better to fix a known problem that recreate two weeks of work.
The problem came about when I used the Geo Location Database to find what county Vivian was in, then clicked on one of the Select buttons. Apparently instead of just adding the location to the current field, Legacy decided to add it to about 246 other names.
