I'd support this suggestion. I'm still using v.5 and one of the things putting me off upgrading at present is the prospect of a lengthy download on dial-up.
Like Dennis (see his later message) I don't use the Geo database; and having spent some years doing research, buying reference books, belonging to FH societies, reading their journals and many mailing lists, I already have a pretty good idea of which sources are likely to be of help to me. All I need in a program is a reliable database that will produce reasonable reports and charts from time to time - and I'd still think Legacy was good value, even without the bells and whistles.
