Hi Ed,
Firstly right click on the tags above the name of your great aunt's uncle
then tag all his ancestors (but untag his wife). Now go to tools>advance
deleting from which you can delete all tagged individuals.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Deleting Families
I'm using a fully patched v5 edition of Legacy.
I imported a GEDCOM file and didn't notice one of my great-grand aunt's
husband's
family was included. I really don't care about his ancestors. Is there an
easy way to remove all of his ancestors and their family tree lines (other
than the descendant line for him and my great-grand aunt)?
Is there a method to discover all unrelated people, from a starting point
such as me, in the database, other than spouses?
