Understood. After thinking about it, I think this is -almost- accomplishes what I am trying to do. At least so much that the three or four I miss can be picked up later. Instead of MRIN, I was looking for Spouse, so I could set Spouse = "none." Your method accomplishes this.

Robert, I can create a Search List with individuals without an MRIN number. But there is no way of making a list for people who lived to be at least 18 years old because there may be hundreds of people in any given family file whose birth/chr. dates and/or death/burial dates are not known. It would be impossible to calculate ages at death for these people, and even if the dates were all known Legacy couldn't do it -- Not in a search. To make a list of individuals without an MRIN, you must first find those who have an MRIN greater than 0. First in Detailed Search screen set these conditions: Look for Whom? = Marriage Where to Look = MRIN How to Look = Greater Than What to look for = 0 Clear the list before the search, then search. Second, in the Search List click Options and select Advanced Tagging. Clear all the tags, then tag everyone in the search list on level 1 (or whatever pleases you). Third return to the Detailed Search screen and set these conditions: Look for Whom? = Individual Where to Look = Tag 1 (or whatever level you tagged on the second step) How to Look = Equal To What to look for = Untagged Clear the list before the search, then search. This will give a list of individuals without MRINs, which means there is no marriage, partnership or whatever associated with them.
