I figured out how to find the ghost location! It is for a marriage in which
the two do not exist in the database. These marriages do show up in the
Marriage list with blanks for names. I simply tagged all marriages with
blanks with a Tag 6 and then went to family view and quickly toggled through
Marriage Tag ^ in the lower right corner of the bottom toolbar until I saw
the location.

Porter, you have erased locations for such marriages by inadvertently
merging it with the blank location.

Subject: [LegacyUG] ghost location cannot be found or deleted

I have a location in my Location list as follows: maybe 1795, Greene
County, Georgia, USA

When I click on Options>Show List, it says no records were found thet use
this location. I try to delete it and it says "Cannot delete this location.
It is currently being used. Would you like to view the records that use
it?"

I click yes and get "no records were found thet use this location."

Obviously it is being used, but I have searched all places, birth, death,
baptism, burial, marriage, and event, and still can not find where it is
used.
I want to put maybe 1795 in the notes using move tagged entry into event
notes., but currently I have 1/4 of my locations tagged for another purpose.
So I cannot do that until I am finished with going through my 5000 locations
tagging each as I finish with the other task.

Is there another way to find what record uses the ghost location?
