I finally got the Web link to work. Thanks for the instructions on how to add the bracket to the Special Character list.
I did encounter one problem that I finally cleared up while doing this project. I made a HTML page for the extra photos/documents. Did all the photo inserts and it looked OK. I saved this into the web page (HTLM) into the folder that was created by the Legacy program (C:\Legacy\web\myancestors\newpage.htlm)and when I tried to open the file with the hyperlink, it would not open. I looked at the source code and the link address was perfect. For whatever reason, it "saves", and appears to be in the folder ( I looked at the folder separately) and yet it is not there?. The final solution was to save the HTML page in with the photos(c:\Legacy\pictures\newpage.html). I used this address in the Event and it works just fine. To add to the web, I have another Web file, so I would move the entire file out of Legacy. So my problem is solved, but I thought I would mention it. Has anyone else tried to add html pages to the Legacy\web\ file?
