Anne,
Some people print birth, christening, marriage, death & burial pictures
using a non-Legacy application. I had a problem seeing scrapbooks in Legacy
6 books until the USR files were deleted a few days ago and haven't
experimented since. Now waiting for an update of Legacy 6 because several
issues were reported with books.

Custom event is the only way to get an obituary/gravestone combination in a
Legacy book report because you cannot print pictures with the death or
burial fields.

Place holder can be used in a Legacy 6 book if you want to insert picture
pages printed separately. After printing one family book with about 30
separate files, I resolve to plan all future books with one PDF file -- no
editing allowed.

Planning a Legacy report with pictures gets even more complicated if you
want to be able to *read* the printing on a tombstone, scanned obituary or
similar image. View each picture after linking to a Legacy database to make
sure it will print in an acceptable size and position. -- Elizabeth
