Robert,

I enter wills as an event, actually two events: Will Dated and Will
Probated. The transcription of the will goes in the notes field for the
Will Dated event. I rarely bother to scan wills.

I use Will Dated and Will Probated events because I have several individuals
in my family file for whom I do not have death dates. For example I know my
3rd great-grandfather John Lyall, died between 3 Nov 1852 and 1 Jan 1853,
because those are the dates his write his will and when it was entered for
probate. He must have died in that two month period.
