Jim,
You're right. Legacy doesn't have a solution. Some of us have been
asking for just such a "report." They know what we want. I called it
"a complete dump, but organized." Don't know how else to describe
it. I would commit my file to archival safe paper in a New York minute
if such a report was available. -- Alice

I don't think I saw a solution to this "need".
Since reading about the (likely?) revised useful life span of "burned"
CDs, on Dick Eastman's blog (10 Jan)
http://blog.eogn.com/eastmans_online_genealogy/
I've had a desire for the same type of report - as is available for creation
of web pages.
When CDs were made available for creation by home users not so many years
ago, the CDs were touted to have a useful life of 50 - maybe a 100 years.
What a
wonderful low cost way to archive my data! Not quite. Now it seems that 5
or 10 years may be a more realistic life span. Who really knows?!
Anyhow, I'm thinking that perhaps I just need to bite the bullet and
commit my family files to print on paper - "big bucks" in comparison to the
price of a CD.
Anyone have a solution or thoughts?
Jim
