Kirsten, I use Gedcom 5.5 with my Legacy file. (I've never used the
Ancestry one.) If you click on Customize, you will be given the choice
to not export different parts of the file. I usually export everything
except Picture, Sound, Video so that I will have a database online to
download if I ever lose all my copies of Legacy database. At Rootsweb,
you can choose there to mask the first names of all persons Living,
not show their info (except last name family links), and don't show
sources or notes.

My Rootsweb WorldConnect data is under Cullivan01, so you can check
how it comes out from Legacy and with these options. An example to
look at:
http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=cullivan01&id=I165
Maybe I will try the Ancestry option and use a focus group another day!

[Note, the reason I don't use sources online is because I would rather
people contact me to find out where I got my information. Some of my
sources are personal contacts, and I don't wish to publicize their
names and have it copied without anyone's knowledge. This is a very
public database.]
