Hi, Susan, first, I want to apologize to the group. I have not fully examined the sample database and have not fully read the Archives. I'm thankful for all of your patience.

<My personal usage is to list it as follows in the location field:
Woburn (Calvary Cemetary), Middlesex, Massachusetts, USA
then Edit (blue down arrow at right) the location names to read:
Short Location Name:
Calvary Cemetary, Woburn, MA>

Then you would have the cemetery listed as another location name for Woburn, correct? The same with the churches. I would just like to see these facts on the Individual's view, just as you would see the desc, date, and place on an event.

The things I have lost by coming from FTM are nothing compared to what I've gained. Thanks, Susan
Elsie

I'm sorry to be such a pest. I don't understand why the birth,
baptism, marriage, death, burial fields are different than Events.
With the events, I can easily enter an event, fill in the desc, date,
and place to have an accurate visible bit of information. With the
birth field, I don't understand how I would enter a hospital name
(birth desc or death desc) ..or a cemetery (burial desc). If I put
this info in the notes, it's not visible in the Family View. What am I
doing wrong?
