Hi John,

I have checked Google for fd30wel.dll and no results. I have also checked my computer for it and I don't have it. I do not have any problems making pedigree web pages - in fact I am doing the updates for my site at the moment.

So, it would seem that this component is neither a Windows nor a Legacy component. Have you recently run a virus check or spyware/adware check? If not I suggest that you try it.

BTW please do not mention your summer - it's wet and cold in the Manchester UK winter :).

Subject: [LegacyUG] fp98swin.exe - unable to to locate component

I am trying to create a pedigree file for uploading to my web site when I
get the above error.

The message box tells me "the application has failed to start because
fp30wel.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application the application may
fix this problems"

I have tried re-installing Legacy 6, which does not solve the problem. I am
running Windows XP with the latest "fixes".

Has any user a possible solution?

Thanks

From a not so summery New Zealand
