G'day from Perth,

I just recently found out what to do with the Repeat button and as a 2
fingered typist it saves me heaps of time when inserting whole groups/large
families that have common information.

However, I've discovered that sometimes it does not activate and I wonder if
there are things or sequences that must immediately precede its usage.
Alternatively, are there keystrokes/mouse click sequences that I should not
do?

A great feature of the repeat button is that it can operate for more than
just the name and location fields.

However, sometimes after inserting a date in the individual information
screen I either tab or mouse click to the location field then click the
repeat button it does not bring up the address I want but tabs itself to the
next date field.

I was previously using the field opening down arrow to the right of the Name
and location which was a bit quicker than typing in existing location
details.

Any solutions folks?

Secondly, I was using the above down arrow to find the "repeated" location
information and sometimes it would give me the one I wanted but at other
times it would present a previous location.

How can I regularly get the (street, village, City, county etc) information
that I've just selected for place of birth to also appear in the (say)
christening , death and marriage fields?

I wonder?
