Elizabeth, I know the blocker sends out a message, but it is only blocked temporarily, until I unblock it or add it to my spam file. Once I unblock it, future e-mails come right through.
What I plan to do about my original problem is to import a new GEDCOM with the setting to eliminate the spacing, and then re-add the new entries. I may try to tag the once I can remember and merge them. To manually correct each space would take me hours on hours. Researchers who use blocking systems may have all future messages blocked after someone tries to help. Private messages are the best way to discuss GEDCOM transfer issues because they are specific to the version and sometimes the build (for Legacy) of importing and exporting software. I'd like to know if you found an easy way to fix your notes in Legacy without starting a new file. -- Elizabeth From: "Susan & James Bruckman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >From your reply, I take it you conclude there is no way to import a new > GEDCOM and successfully merge it into the old GEDCOM, and have the end > result have the notes formatted without abnormal spaces (from the new > GEDCOM), and keep the changes I have made to the old GEDCOM.
