Thanks Dave, using Alt+ Space brings up the menu you said it would, it's so far off screen even trying to move it or close it doesn't work. when I press Alt + Tab all it does is move to the Legacy program which is brought to the front of the desktop.

Oh well, guess I'll not use that part of the program.

I've had it and solved it with Ken McGinnis' help.

I believe you'll find the problem is caused by the Alarm window being
off-screen so you don't see the active window.

Try this . . . set the Alarm to go off, then when Legacy "freezes"
hold down the Alt key and press the space bar.  If a menu appears
click on Move and use the cursor keys to bring the Alarm window back
onto your screen.
If a menu doesn't appear, press the M key and see if your mouse
pointer changes to a 4-pointed cross.  If so then use the cursor keys
to bring the Name List back onto your screen.

Note: this problem can occur with any window and with other programs
if the window gets pushed too far to the screen borders.
