Unless it's a CD-RW, you can't. CD-ROM is an inherently read-only medium, or 
WORM (write once, read many). 

You can copy them back to your HD, and if they are still read-only there, you 
can change the attribute there. But you can't change the read-only attribute 
on a CD-ROM.
