To celebrate Black History Month, Ancestry's U.S. World War One Draft
Cards database will be free to search (with registration) during
February 2006. Registration requires your name and email address. To

And, FYI, I use dial-up internet service and had no problem having
multiple windows open while using Ancestry and other websites
simultaneously. It comes up quite quickly.

Slightly off topic, but not really. I noticed in the
newsletter that certain searches would be available
for free in honor of Black History Month (February).
However, when I try to conduct a search thru Legacy's
home page, and click on "View Record", I get an error
message which says, "Internet Explorer Script Error
Line: 97 (or 104)
Char: 3
Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL:
http://www.ancestry.com/security/deny.aspx?sub=294913&dbid=6482&gsfn=Kyosaku&gsln=Mizutani&url=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch%2Eancestry%2Ecom%2Fcgi%2Dbin%
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?"
Then I get the option of clicking yes or no. No matter
which one I click, I get the next page which tells me
I have to sign up for Ancestry.com in order to view
any records. BTW, I get the same display, sans the IE
Script Error message, when I go to the Ancestry
website independent of Legacy.
