Steve - UI means User Interface. "They" I think Glen means the LDS Church.
Glen - The LDS Church has thought about the lack of sources and notes in
their databases. What they are doing is making both available in Family
Tree. It will preserve your notes and sources when a GEDCOM is loaded into
Family Tree. They are still working on a better Source function. The goal
is to have any information added on a person first request the source of
that information. This will teach people how to record sources on
everything. That part is not functioning in beta 1. Right now you have to
click on the link to add the source and as we know some people will just
skip that and not add any at all. Those of us that do genealogy know it's
important to record sources but how many of us didn't understand that when
we first started. The LDS Church is trying to teach people to record their
sources.
