I applaud what you are trying to do. I was going to reply to your first
email but I was at work and couldn't do it then.

I have been around and around about the legacy access database. There are a
few things I wanted to do and when I asked for the schema I was very clearly
told (Sherry) I couldn't get that information and shouldn't be reverse
engineering their design ... without signing up as an authorized developer
and sign a non disclosure with them. I did that, got some information but it
was clearly very disappointing to see their documentation.

So after awhile, I've given up. I'll use legacy until I can find something
better. And until then I'll continue entering shared events multiple times,
and trying to plan how I want the reports to look before I enter data - two
very clear deficiencies (poorly designed DB) IMHO.

I was going to sign up for your list but I'm tired of trying to find new ids
(my standard id is already in use) and more importantly trying to remember
them. If these lists can't use something that is (already) unique (like
email address) I won't use them. I know this is petty but ....

I wish you the best in your efforts and if there's any info or discussions
you CAN have on Legacy, I'll catch it there.
