Jim,

I was doing the IGI search without signing in since we had the IGI search option. A few days ago, I started getting continuous repeats on waiting to get data. Could not access the familysearch.com. Tried changing the setting to sign in, and got the message you reported. Finally discovered that my password had expired. Used the link to update that, and now it works unless busy? Back in business again.

You may want to add a message to the "Home" tab for Legacy advising people to update their password at FamilySearch.com.

Subject: [LegacyUG] IGI Search Error - Problem logging in

Listers,

I had a call today from a Legacy user who was getting a message "There were problems logging into FamilySearch.org" when trying an IGI Search for temple ordinance information. I was able to repeat the problem in both Legacy 5
and 6 on two computers.

If you get such a message, first double check your username and password, if you are certain that your using the correct ones, please exit Legacy and go to FamilySearch.org using your regular web browser and log in. When I did this I got the same "There were problems logging into FamilySearch.org" message and had to reset my password. After that I was able to restart
Legacy and do a successful IGI Search without login problems.

However, I did get an imposed 33 second delay message after which Legacy
connected. Please be patient with Legacy and FamilySearch.org.

Thank you,

Jim Terry
