Daphne, Why not assign the RINs and MRINs you want to keep as User IDs in the Individiual Information and Marriage Information windows? Those won't ever be changed unless you change them.
You can elect to show User IDs on the Views and Name Lists in lieu of the RINs/MRINS under Options > Customize > View. Thanks for using Legacy.
