Thanks, Paul.  That is what I consider good
procedure.  If the person is attempting to click
on a gedcom created in a program and thinks it
will open up in their program, that isn't going to
happen.  As you and I are both suggesting, the
sender exports a gedcom, mails it, the recipient
receives it and imports it into their program.
