That's what the "Research Guidance Tab" is supposed to be. 

The trouble is, the higher and fatter your brick wall, the less use it is.

I once wrote a research guidance program (I've probably still got it on disk 
somewhere). It was intended for beginners to genealogy, to help them get 
interested and get started. It was based on a crude hypertext engine (before 
the web wass available). The web and search engines now do what my program 
was intended to do.

And from what I've seen of the "Research Guidance" thingy, it is a lot like 
"Gensmart", if not a direct crib -- it too recommends the Allen County Public 
Library (wherever that may be) as some kind of panacaea for all genealogical 
ills. It's a bit like training wheeels on a bicycle -- once you've learnt to 
ride the thing, they just get in the way, so you take them off.
