Hi Gene,
Repeat functions are already there.

If you click on the label at the beginning of each box in an Event 
window, you'll get the value that was last entered in that box.
If you right click on the Date or Location, you get the a list of 
recent entries you can choose from.

You can copy the whole event, including the sources, and then paste 
to a new event for another person. See the copy and paste buttons on 
the right on the Add/Edit an event Window.

This certainly does save time :-)
