I prefer the pedigree webpage style (Internet>Create Web Pages>Pedigree radio button on right side) because it dumps every individual in the file in something more interesting than alpabetical order. Ancestor style gets your straight line ancestors (no distant cousins) and Descendant style gets only straight line descendants (no ancestors of inlaws, etc.). For my 16,000 person file, the latter two styles access only about 6,000 people. But 16,000 4kb webpage files take a LOOONG time to upload to a website. So I had the bright idea that, since the htm file name is the same as the RIN number, if I searched on "Date Modified" > the last big upload, tag the results, then Internet>Create Web Pages>What>Tag 1, I'd get the 2000 or so individuals whose data had changed since the last huge upload. Upload just these, regenerate the Surname.htm, Sources.htm, and all name.htm files for the whole database and upload those, and I'd be done about 8 times faster! But no. Pedigree links are broken. Is this because I reuse RIN's? Because I merged or deleted some individuals? Isn't some procedure like the above a short-cut? Do I have to upload 1000's of pages whose content is identical to get the few that have changed to behave? Jonathan
