Hi Jan, I don't have any of these as sources in my own database right now, but if you really want an expert opinion, subscribe to the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list. Elizabeth Mills sometimes answers source citation questions directly, and there are also many listers there who are very helpful.

In general, I would list the name of the source (i.e. Pedigree Resource File), the database name and link where it comes from, and the author of the database (if there is one listed). This is master source info. Then for the citation detail, you can list the person's name and the submitter's name and submitted date (if available). In the notes, you can paste in exactly what you see on the screen. If you give me a link to see one of yours, I will be glad to take a more specific stab at it. I'm no expert, but I do have a big interest in source citations in general.

Best of luck!

Subject: [LegacyUG] Source Citation - FamilySearch

Hi
I'm currently re-visiting my sources to ensure they are in the correct
format. I wonder if anyone can give me suggestion as to the best way to
enter FamilySearchT Pedigree Resource File details as a source. I
appreciate these records are 'user submitted' and verification is required
but I have found a number of my ancestors here and it's been a great
starting point.
Any help/advice would be appreciated
Jan
