Take a look at PAF (Personal Ancestral File) Companion II published by The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It has several box charts.
You must be using the PAF software for your family history research
database. It may be something Legacy would consider creating.

Here is a short excerpt from a description of this product,

"The PAF Companion software prints quality color pedigree charts, family
group records, ancestor charts, descendant charts, hourglass charts, fan
charts, bow tie charts, kinship reports, descendant reports, and narrative
reports. It tiles multiple pages to form large wall charts, and it can
print photos in many charts. Its Preview and Publish to PDF features let
you preview charts and save them in AdobeR PDF format...Choose from more
than 16-million colors to view, print and publish your family tree. Reads
your PAF file directly - no GEDCOM import required."

To find out more about the Companion II, how to purchase it, and what all
the different charts look like, (you can zoom in on them for better
readability simply by clicking on the chart) go to this website;

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Box Charts available ? ? ?

It would do my heart good if Legacy would in the next update add topdown,
waterfall, and all other charts like FTM (or the MAC's Reunion). I too use
FTM
for charts. I bought charting Companion but not real happy with it.
Question.
When I update Legacy I also manually update FTM. Exactly what is the way to

GEDCOM to FTM when I make changes. (soon I will have to go with only one or

the other)
Also I would Gladly, Gladly, pay more for Legacy if great real trees were
includes in Legacy Family Tree.

Tree Draw Legacy definitely has box charts. What's a circle chart?
Do you mean a fan chart that shows all of a persons relatives?

I agree with Ann Parsons, who wrote about gedcomming out of Legacy
into FTM. That's what I do with FTM 10. Thinking of upgrading to
FTM 2006. FTM makes nice charts easily. I used tree draw though
not the latest version. I like what you can get from it's trees better
than what FTM will give you. Problem is that it's a lot of work. So
I pretty much use FTM. I've heard that Tree Draw is better with the
latest release, but I didn't upgrade.

On this list I am a bit of a contrarian. Legacy does a great job on
research and data input. I would like to see the native graphical
output of the program greatly improved.
