I can confirm that. I had used Paradox before, and when i got Access (with 
Office) I didn't have a clue. The documentation was sparse, to say the least.

I've bought two thirdpaqrty books, and am just beginning to get an idea, but 
neither has any information on using VBA to manipulate data, and I think one 
would have to know that to do anything with Legacy dares. 

As far as I know Legacy doesn't use Access, but is written in Visual Basic, 
which can use Access databases. So it is useful to be able to extract some 
informationto look at with Access, but I would not let Access near my main 
Legacy database, onlt a copy!
