I can confirm that. I had used Paradox before, and when i got Access (with Office) I didn't have a clue. The documentation was sparse, to say the least. I've bought two thirdpaqrty books, and am just beginning to get an idea, but neither has any information on using VBA to manipulate data, and I think one would have to know that to do anything with Legacy dares. As far as I know Legacy doesn't use Access, but is written in Visual Basic, which can use Access databases. So it is useful to be able to extract some informationto look at with Access, but I would not let Access near my main Legacy database, onlt a copy! -- Steve Hayes E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Web: http://www.geocities.com/hayesstw/stevesig.htm Phone: 083-342-3563 or 012-333-6727 Enter the drawing for a FREE Legacy Cruise to Alaska or a FREE research trip to Salt Lake's Family History Library.
