The programmers are in the process of porting over from VB6, which does not
support Unicode, to VB.Net, which does. When that gets done, then Legacy
will be able to accept the unicode fonts. We're probably at least a year
away from that happening.

We never tell anyone if or when a new feature will be available (well, I
take that back - we did once and boy were the users disappointed when we
didn't get it done in time for the new version!) and all that we've told
users about unicode support is that the programmers are working on it. I
don't know who would have told you that it would definitely be available in
Legacy v6.... No one that I know of in the company expected the conversion
to be ready by then.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] No Pre-Sales Help?

Dennis,
My questions were: Are these currently supported in 6.0? I use 5.0 and
before upgrading, I wanted to know if these items are currently supported in
6.0. Over a year ago when I phoned the company I was told that 6,0 was going
to be re-written from the ground up and support UTF-8. This did not appear
in any release notes, and that made me unsure of this.
Thanks to all who responded.
