I originally 'thought' that was the purpose, but it only 'skips' to
the next missing record. I've put in a suggestion that in the next
release they put in a 'delete link' button as well as a 'skip to next
picture' button.
Legacy emailed me back and advised the only other method is to go
through the picture gallery and unlink the pictures from that perspective.

Paul,
Isn't that what the check box 'Remove unreferenced picture, sound,
and video paths' is for ?

Subject: [LegacyUG] Deleted Pictures - Link Remains
Recently I removed about 50 picture files that were no longer
needed in my data base. They were copies of census reports and I
found it unnecessary to display them... so I moved them to a
different folder for storage but no longer want them displayed.
I have gone to OPTIONS -> CUSTOMIZE -> LOCATIONS -> Test All Media paths.
When prompted I begin the task of searching the data base for
proper links to picture files... only there is no option to remove
the link from the data base if the picture is not found, only a
button that say "skip" and go to the next picture.
Would the developers of Legacy be able to add a button to remove
the reference for the missing picture if it's not found?
- I submitted this request through the suggestion box.
Thank you,
Paul
