David, I actually just ran into a similar problem as you, only in reverse. I have the vision command camera working under XP via JMF and Lejos 2.1.
However, I wanted to switch to using a creative camera instead (so I can put my vision command back in a bot). Unfortuately, I can't get JMF to "see" the creative cam. I haven't had time to try to run down the problem yet, but at least I can say that I was able to get JMF and XP working (well, working with ONE device, anyway!). I'll have to scrounge around and see if I can pull another old webcam out of my "parts" closet and see if I can get another one working. I read on web page somewhere of a "JMF-WDM bridge", > which works with win2000 and earlier but not winxp. > > Is the current version of JMF currently meant to be working > with winXP + > WDM as suggested in the tutorial? Or have I done something wrong here? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Do you grep through log files for problems? Stop!
