The tutorial is, as having already pointed out in a recent posting, not
updated yet to leJOS 3.0 (mind, it's a milestone preview).
Did you run the three scripts in the "check" folder to check the
downloaded distribution?
compileDistributionCheck.bat
linkDistributionCheck.bat
downloadDistributionCheck.bat (please switch on RCX before)

I just downloaded Matthias Paul Scholz's leJOS 3.0 release (for Win32),
and I'm having a rather painful time trying to get any of it to work.
I extracted everything to C:\lejos, set the path and %LEJOS_HOME%
environment variables, and then tried to build some of the samples.
For example, I went into \lejos\samples\comms\outstream and ran "lejosjc
Write.java". The result was the following error:
Write.java:1: package josx.rcxcomm does not exist
import josx.rcxcomm.*;
Plus a few more for missing symbols. I tried a few things (like adding
the rest of the .jars in /lib to the classpath), but I'm at the end of
my rope here. The tutorial included in the docs is the same one that's
on the lejos.sourceforge.net <http://lejos.sourceforge.net> site, as far
as I can tell, so it's not much help. What am I doing wrong? Any
assistance would be greatly appreciated.
