It seems to fail after the upload has finished, while "unlocking"

I have tried downloading a programing onto the RCX just incase the firmware write was successful, but it obviously was not:

Please make sure RCX has leJOS firmware and is in range.
The firmware must be in program download mode.
Turn RCX off and on if necessary.
After trying to load the leJOS firmware, the RCX seems to be back to "boot mode".
I can download the Official lego firmware onto the brick at any time without problems, but lejos is proving a real problem.
Any Help would be much appreciated.
