I just taught an embedded systems course in which we used Lejos 3.0, JDK 1.5, Eclipse 3.0 with the Eclipse plugin, and it worked fine on WinXP machines.

Sure, I running WinXP. JDK1.5 and LejOS 2.1.0 I also tried it on a Fedora Core 5 box with the same version of LejOS and JDK. The end result are the same, after trying to upload new firmware the RCX "hangs" and ive to "reboot" but taking a battery out. I know the instructions state no support for java 1.5 but i think all the steps of downloading firmware is non-jdk dependent. -Anders Roger Glassey wrote: > Hi Anders, > Sorry to be slow getting back to you.
