Hi Myles, Sorry if my short answer sounded abrupt. I just looked through your output and it looks like it's mostly working for you since I can see that it retrieved the product ID (LEGO) and the type (SONAR) from the sensor.
Try doing a for() loop that spits out distances and you will see that it gives good readings most of the time. There's also a temporary workaround someone mentioned that if you use NXTCommand.setVerify(true) before calling methods on the Ultrasonic sensor it will become pretty much 100% reliable, except for the getDistances() method. Hopefully everything will be fixed up for iCommand 0.6.
