Are you running on Windows or Linux? I am running on windows XP pro. Everything else (lego sdk, lejos vesion 2.1) all seems to connect to the RCX fine. I can't find any resources at all on the web dealing with this problem. I've searched through the archives. This leads me to belive there may be a bug in 3.0 concerning Windows connectivity to the RCX.
The green light comes on, but the RCX sits there silent. I get back the following error when trying to install the firmware. I've tried all sorts if port settngs on the com port. Differnt baud rates, stop bit, parity etc. Nothing seems to change the behavior I see. So, I suppose I can either go back to NQC, or maybe try to use v2.1 of lejos. But, the big problem there was that java.util.Random wasn't fully imlpemented. Is there an alternative for creating random numbers? If there is maybe I can just get away with using it.
