Mike,
I have found that when I ran out of memory the bots made a beeping noise and
locked up. The only way to get back control was to turn the RCX off and back
on. I believe the bots where running out of memory when this occurred due to
thread usage but I never tested it explicitly. Hope that helps.

Hi,
I have two robots that work together to play a game of checkers. All the
methods that I have written work while testing but when I put everything
together the rcx does not respond after scanning the checker board.
After scanning the board it should make its move. It just sits there. My
concern is that the master rcx has run out of memory while calculating a
move to make. After commenting out some diagnostic methods (lcd data and
beeps) it makes a move. I am wondering is there a way I can determine
the amount of memory free in the rcx and what does lejos do when it runs
out of memory?

Mike
